İki Mimar Architecture & Construction Co. was founded by Süha Afacan and Berkay Şeşen in December of 2010.
İki Mimar is a Ankara-based architecture and construction firm that offers a wide range of services to public and private clients. We are a collaborative, principles-driven firm that sees the unique characteristics of each place and project as a source of inspiration and innovation.

SUHA OZCAN AFACAN

Co-Founder, Architect

SUHA Ozcan Afacan was born in Bolu. After graduating from Middle East Technical University, Ankara-Turkey, he started his professional career as an architect in 2003. During his 9 years of practice, he successfully participated in several large scale airport projects in Turkey, Georgia and Libya. He lectured at Queens University Belfast during his 2 years of stay in UK. In 2010 he co-founded iKi MiMAR with Berkay Sesen in Ankara. Since 2010 he has been responsible for a wide range of architectural and interior design works.

BERKAY SESEN

Co-Founder, Architect

Berkay Sesen was born in Samsun. After graduating from Middle East Technical University, Ankara-Turkey, he started his professional career as an architect in 2003. During his 9 years of practice, he successfully participated in several large scale hospitality projects in Turkey and Georgia. He earned his masters degree on Engineering Management at METU in 2007. In 2010 he co-founded iKi MiMAR with Suha Ozcan Afacan in Ankara. Since 2010 he has been responsible for a wide range of project management and construction works.
