Our approach
We research and create methodologies and design strategies to give answers to the needs of contemporary life. We create designs that are sensitive to basic human needs and enhance a fuller sense of being and living.

Our poetic approach is an expression of an optimum balance between form, material, space and place. Our place and situation based tailored approach is cultivated and reflected in the diverse spectrum of our work.

Our Team
Our core design team is supported by our extended collaborative design studio Form-Union.

Emir studied architecture at the Architectural Association in London and at Kingston Polytechnic. He received his Masters Degree in Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture, Los Angeles.

He set up URAStudio in 1995 in Los Angeles and moved his practice to Istanbul in 1998. He cofounded Uras Dilekci Architects in 2003 and has been continuing his work from URAStudio since 2014.

He taught design studio at Bilgi University and Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul and has contributed to training several young architects and designers.

Emir Uras Founder&Director

Ayşe Nur Karaaslan Designer / Project Manager

Ayse received her bachelor of interior design degree with distinction from Istanbul Bilgi University after graduating from Robert College. She works as a designer and project architect at URAStudio.

Liora Danon Designer / Project Architect

Liora received her bachelor of interior design degree from Istanbul Bilgi University and her master degree from Parsons the New School, New York. She works as a designer and project architect at URAStudio.
